For over 30 years, Easter Seals NH has offered a variety of vocational services to assist people with disabilities and other special needs in identifying, obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment. Easter Seals Vocational Services are available to adolescents and adults from all walks of life, representing a broad range disabilities, educational levels, and socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

| Vocational Assessment and Counseling Services: Easter Seals NH offers comprehensive vocational counseling, testing and assesment services with the goals of indentifying realistic, rewarding vocational goals and concrete recommendations related to job training, job readiness skills, placement considerations, assistive technology, job modifications, and ancillary support services to help individuals achieve their goals. Individuals who access Easter Seals Vocational Assessment services learn about how their skills, aptitudes, and interests relate to different job possibilities and career paths; the process is both informative and motivating.
Job Placement Services Job Placement Services help people with disabilities secure, learn and maintain competitive jobs in the community. These services include pre-employment services such as job readiness training and resume preparation, job development, actual placement, and on-the-job training and support, including personal financial training to assist newly employed clients in managing their resources.

2006 Easter Seals NH Employer Partner of the Year: BAE Systems
BAE SYSTEMS is a 16-year partner with Easter Seals providing employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. Currently, the company employs seven individuals who perform stocking, assembling and quality control duties. These employees are integrated into the fabric of BAE SYSTEMS’ culture. Ira Brand began this partnership with Easter Seals in 1991. He cited the importance of diversity in the workplace and said: "Some decisions we make for the bottom line, some we make to be more competitive . . . (some) we make from the heart . . . because it’s the right thing to do."

Job Coaching and Transitional Employment Services Easter Seals NH offers additional on-the-job training and support to individuals who require assistance in learning job skills and/or adjusting to work environments and demands. Job Coaches work with customers at the work setting and “fade out” as the worker masters his/her job duties and demands. Easter Seals NH also provides on-the-job support for individuals who require ongoing assistance, through our Community-Based Services division.
School-to-Work Programming School-to-Work Programming is provided by Easter Seals Skills Instructors who work with special needs students whose Individual Education Plan includes a community-based component. The student, school personnel, family, and other team members select specific services and areas to be addressed, including community access/integration and employment and job training services.
Vocational Rehabilitation Case Management Through its Manchester, NH-based “Return to Work” program, Easter Seals Vocational Services division provides vocational case management to injured workers receiving worker’s compensation.
