Sno Mo Ride-In Hundreds of Granite State snowmobilers gathered over the weekend in Gorham, NH at the Town and Country Inn for the 40th Annual Ride-In to benefit Easter Seals NH’s Camp Sno-Mo located in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH.

9th Annual Winter Wine Spectacular Thanks to generous sponsors, wine brokers and suppliers, restaurants and participants, the Easter Seals NH Winter Wine Spectacular recently raised $145,000 at the Radisson in Manchester. More than 1,500 participated in the 9th Annual Winter Wine Spectacular for Easter Seals and were welcomed by two massive rooms filled with nearly 2,000 distinctive wines from around the world, fabulous food from the area’s best restaurants and chefs, and world famous wine makers. It is clear why this event, sponsored by RiverStone Resources LLC is the most popular wine event in the region!

Veterans Count Golf Tournament Event sponsor Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, and the golf community came together to salute our military veterans and their families, raising over $35,000 to ensure that veterans and their families receive exceptional services and maximize their quality of life. |

PSNH/Preve Golf Tournament Each September ESNH benefits from the generosity of those who hit the links for the annual Ken Preve/PSNH Golf Tournament. This year the tournament was held at Atkinson Country Club and raised $12,000 to benefit the programs and services at ESNH. |

Sushi Extravaganza The 4th Annual Sushi Extravaganza, hosted by Steve and Valerie April, raised over $9,000 through generous guests in attendance and friends contributing following the event. During the past four years the event has raised more than $40,000 for Easter Seals Early Intervention Services. |

Porsche of Nashua Octoberfest Auto Show Car enthusiasts of all ages gathered at Porsche of Nashua to show off their “favorite toys” or simply admire the view. The 4th Annual Octoberfest Car Show raised $5,100 and included a variety of slick rides which included classic vintage cars, Ferraris, Cobras and, of course, an impressive display of collectors’ Porsches. Guests enjoyed a barbeque by Brothers Butchery, tunes from 92.5 FM The River and a silent auction.

Mill City BBQ, Brews & Blues Several hundred people gathered at the Mill City BBQ, Brews and Blues Festival this October in honor of Easter Seals Veterans Count Program. 96.5 The Mill, in cooperation with Manchester Harley Davidson, Twin Smoke Shops and Viking Propane sponsored the afternoon which was full of LIVE entertainment and beer tastings. The event raised $2,700 for Easter Seals NH. |

Veterans Count Club Breakfast Over 200 individuals gathered with the common interest of helping veterans, service members and their families at the 4th Annual Veterans Count Breakfast. Together the group raised $70,000 for military families. This year the club welcomed 70 new members. 100% of all the money raised directly supports the emergency assistance fund. |

Recyled Rides Trinity Wentworth and her family received their newly-restored 2006 PT Cruiser at Manchester Collision Center the day before Thanksgiving. Trinity, a client of ESNH Children Services, was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay, impacting her motor, cognitive, speech, language and social skills. The Wentworths recently received the news that Trinity suffers from seizures, which not only impact her medically, but they further impact her developmental skills. The PT Cruiser was donated by Geico and completely refurbished through Recycled Rides, a nationwide awareness project in which members of the national Auto Body Council repair and donate recycled vehicles to families in need. C&C auto Transport, Sanel Auto Parts, Allen Mello Dodge and Keystone Auto also provided services to assist in the restoration of the vehicle.

Walk With Me 2011 Kick Off Walk with Me team captains from all over the state attended the Walk with Me Kick-Off Breakfast at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant on April 9th where they had the opportunity to learn more about this year’s walk. Easter Seals NH’s Director of Events and Corporate Relations, Christine Hardy, took the time to explain all of the new exciting aspects of this year’s Walk to those in attendance, and motivational speaker Steve Gamlin from Jigsaw Consulting entertained and inspired the crowd. This year’s 13th Annual Walk with Me will be held on June 9th in Manchester’s Veteran’s Park.

39th Annual NHSA Ride-In Hundreds of Granite State snowmobilers gathered in early February in Dixville Notch, NH, at the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel for the 39th Annual Ride-In to benefit Easter Seals NH’s Camp Sno-Mo located in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH. Through fundraising effort throughout the year such as spaghetti suppers and bake sales, the clubs raised morethan $80,000, bringing the 39 year total to nearly $2.3 million dollars. This money will be used to create life-changing experiences for campers, ages 11-21, with disabilities and special needs.

Winter Wine Spectacular The 8th Annual Easter Seals NH Winter Wine Spectacular was a huge success! The event, sponsored by RiverStone Resources LLC, and supported by New Hampshire’s local wine brokers, was held on January 27, at the Center of New Hampshire Radisson Hotel in Manchester NH. With over 2,000 varieties of wine from reds to whites and even pinks it is no wonder this event sells out every year. Proceeds from the event will make a profound difference in the lives of young children through Easter Seals NH Family Centered Early Supports and Services.

Italian Wine Tasting & Seminar with Kevin Zraly Author of the bestselling wine book in North America, Windows on the World Complete Wine Course, Kevin Zraly held a special wine tasting and seminar on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Bedford Village Inn in Bedford. The seminar was hosted by Southern Wine and Spirits of New England, Inc., and a portion of the proceeds benefitted the programs and services offered by Easter Seals NH.

3rd Annual Porsche of Nashua Octoberfest Autoshow On Sunday, October 3 over 40 cars pulled into the lot at Porsche of Nashua to show off their unique features. The event, which raised $5,000 for Easter Seals NH, included raffles, a silent auction and, of course, prizes to the most popular cars!

12th Annual Walk With Me Despite the plentiful raindrops that, for safety reasons caused the walking portion of the 12th Annual Walk With Me for Easter Seals NH to be cancelled, nearly 400 dedicated supported showed up at this twilight walk event and raised more than $90,000 for children, adults and seniors who receive services from Easter Seals NH.

The 5k twilight walk through downtown Manchester was carnival infused with cheerleaders, a dunk tank, and Mama Kicks playing live!

Salon Aquavit Joins Forces with Easter Seals to Benefit Veterans and Their Families Salon Aquavit in Milford, NH, and Easter Seals partnered up to present the 2nd Annual America the Beautiful Fashion Show at C.R. Sparks in Bedford, NH. Proceeds from the event, totaling $5,000, will support Easter Seal’s Veteran’s Count program. Veteran’s Count ensures veterans and their families receive exceptional services maximizing their quality of life in recognition of their service and sacrifice for the community. The fashion show featured clothing from local retailers and boutiques.
