Easter Seals NH 4th Annual “Veterans Count” Golf Tournament Raises Nearly $35,000

Proceeds to benefit veterans and their families

The business community joined with concerned citizens to salute our military veterans and their families at Easter Seals NH’s 4th Annual Veterans Count Golf Tournament, held at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, NH, and sponsored by The Union Leader. Participants showed their appreciation for the service and sacrifice that veterans make for the community, raising nearly $35,000 to ensure that veterans and their families receive exceptional services and maximize their quality of life.

Easter Seals Care Coordinators currently manage more than 1,000 individual cases and that number is expected to grow to 2,000 by the end of the year. Since Easter Seals launched the program, more than 1,500 military families have been served.

“Easter Seals Veterans Services has provided life-changing, financial assistance and emergency services to more than 600 veterans and their families,” said Easter Seals President and CEO Larry J. Gammon. “We are currently working with more than 1,000 individual clients and expect that number to grow to 2,000 by the end of the year. We are able to provide these folks with the help they need because of generous support from caring individuals and the business community. Thank you to everyone who made this tournament a success.”
