Enhance Your Wine Experience with Seminars by the Experts

Manchester—For wine enthusiasts and foodies alike, the 7th Annual Winter Wine Spectacular, will be held January 28 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester from 6 to 9 p.m. This premier wine event is presented by The NH Liquor and Wine Outlets and will benefit Easter Seals’ Early Intervention program which provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to children with disabilities and special needs from birth to age three throughout the state.

Thanks to the generous support of NH’s local wine brokers, the Winter Wine Spectacular offers a vast selection of more than 1,400 varietals, dozens of winemakers, wine seminars, and fabulous food from the area’s most popular restaurants. It is no wonder the Easter Seals NH Winter Wine Spectacular, sponsored by RiverStone Resources LLC, sells out every year!

Wine experts from around the world will be on hand with a large selection of their vintages for you to sip from your own Riedel Crystal stemware, sponsored by Porsche of Nashua. This is a unique opportunity to learn about wine from the experts and meet someone from your favorite vineyard!
This year’s event features three seminars that give you the opportunity to learn from the experts. Kevin Zraly, author of Windows on the World Complete Wine Course will host a wine pairing seminar at C.R. Sparks on Tuesday, January 26 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include a light dinner, wine and an opportunity to meet Kevin Zraly. A copy of his newest edition will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the seminar (book not included in ticket price). A portion of the proceeds will benefit Easter Seals of NH.
Come early for the Winter Wine Spectacular on January 28 and pick from two great seminars from 5-6 p.m. The cost for each seminar is $25.

 “The New Renaissance in Tuscany”—Join Philip di Belardino, Vice President of Banfi Vintners-Fine Wines for a stroll through Tuscany and specifically, Montalcino, the epicenter of fine wines in all of Italy and home to the Castello Banfi Estate. Di Belardino is often described as a stand-up comedian passing himself off as a wine connoisseur.  Well, he’s both.  Please join Philip for a little humor and some new offerings from Castello Banfi and you will probably learn a little about Italian winemaking too!
 Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars: A True Napa Valley Icon—George Foote, National Wine Educator for Ste Michelle Wine Estates, owners of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, will present an in-depth seminar covering Napa Valley, the Stag’s Leap District growing area, and the history of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. A complimentary wine glass will also be provided by Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars.

This year, all proceeds from the event will be used to cover the cost of providing Early Intervention services to more than 3,000 children and family members throughout the state. Easter Seals is committed to providing exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Easter Seals provides services to over 28,000 children, adults and seniors throughout the state.

The evening’s silent auctions, sponsored by Wieczorek Insurance, will feature a variety of items in all tasting rooms. The auction will also feature beautiful artwork provided by the NH Institute of Art, with all pieces highlighting the beauty of wine and food.
