C&S Wholesale Grocers Grant Supports Easter Seals Keene Vocational Services

C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. recently awarded a Mini-Grant for $1,000 to Easter Seals NH in Keene to support the vital work of the Vocational Services program. Easter Seals’ Vocational Services are available at no charge to individuals with disabilities and special needs and include assistance with resume writing and job searching. Services also provide career exploration through informational interviews and job shadowing, interview skill building and job retention. More than 184 individuals, ages 16 and older, in the Keene area have been served this year.

“At C&S we believe that kids are at the heart of our communities, and we’re proud to help support the important work being done by Easter Seals on behalf of individuals with special needs in the Monadnock region,” said C&S Wholesale Grocers Community Involvement Director Gina Goff. C&S Wholesale Grocers has previously supported Easter Seals’ efforts by awarding grants to benefit children through the Early Supports and Services program.

“We are extremely grateful to C&S Wholesale Grocers for this generous grant that benefits our Keene clients by providing them with the means to support their vocational goals,” said Easter Seals President and CEO Larry Gammon. “This donation is just one more example of the tremendous impact the C&S Wholesale Grocers makes at Easter Seals and in the community through their philanthropic giving.”
