Easter Seals NH's Special Transit Service is the largest para-transportation service in the state, traveling over 1.75 million miles in the last year and completing more than 450,000 one-way trips. STS takes pride in providing quality cost-efficient services.

Who is Eligible to Ride?
Medicaid-eligible individuals who use wheelchairs and require medical transportation. The trip must be authorized by a physician or registered nurse.

STS is Medicaid approved!

Who Prepares and Signs the Paperwork?
STS prepares and processes all forms for approved Medicaid clients.

What is the Charge to the Client?
    STS accepts Medicaid reimbursement as payment in full for services
    required. Transportation for services other than Medicaid can be
    arranged on a "pay for service" basis.

Special Education Transportation

Special education is the only school bus service STS provides.

STS provides transportation to more than 750 students daily.

STS provides 90% of the special needs transportation for Manchester's School District and 100% of the special needs
transportation for the Londonderry School District.

STS provides transportation with an operational fleet of more than 80 specially-equipped vehicles.

STS is certified and licensed by the NH Department of Safety; Health and Human Services; EMS; American Red Cross; National Safety Council; and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

STS is especially sensitive to the needs of children

STS collaborates with School Districts on behavior management of children using its service
