Quechee, VT—Wine enthusiasts recently gathered to support Easter Seals and the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) while enjoying the rustic scenery of northern New England in Quechee, VT. The second annual Mountain Wine and Cheese Festival raised more than $13,000 to benefit Easter Seals and VINS and was generously sponsored by Century 21 Energy Shield. Over 70 varieties of wine, gourmet cheeses and hors d’oeuvres from the area’s best restaurants drew a crowd of generous individuals who were ready and willing to sample and enjoy. In addition to wine and food, visitors enjoyed raptor exhibits and a silent auction. “This has been a great partnership between Easter Seals, The Vermont Institute of Natural Science and Century 21. This event has given our organizations a chance to engage new donors and build awareness of services in Vermont. We look forward to future success stories!” says Easter Seals Vermont Vice President of Programs Mark Johnson. Title sponsor, Century 21, is also a nationally-recognized partner of Easter Seals for nearly 30 years! Other event sponsors for the Mountain Wine & Cheese Festival include: Farrell Distributing, Randolph National Bank, The Pulse and WGXL, The Hanover Inn, Canoe Club, Simon Pearce, Juniper Hill Inn, Carpenter & Main Restaurant, Cabot, Neighborly Farms, Cobb Hill, Sugar Bush Farm, and Garfield’s Smokehouse.
