Easter Seals, Start your Engines! 100 Laps of FUNdraising!
11th Anniversary Easter Seals Classic at Hot Laps Karting Center Supports NH Residents with Disabilities and Special Needs |
| Weare— Great food, generous people, big trophies, and of course real racing action joined together on September 19th for a fun-filled day with an outstanding turnout at this year’s Hot Laps event. This year’s success story featured more drivers than ever before for this annual event, which included a record 26 teams from BAE Systems with each completing 100 laps at speeds of up to 60MPH one inch from the pavement! |
 | Among the sponsors at the Sugar Hill Speedway in Weare, NH, were Title Sponsor Paul’s Executive Car Care, Telecom America Corporation, BAE Systems, Pepsi, Frito Lay and Capitol Distributors. Of the four races, the winning teams were John-Paul Padfield and Dean Hamilton, Ben & Sam Penkacik and Ross Nadeau, Dan McCallum and Jim Boisvert, and
“The turnout this year was outstanding, as expected. We could not have asked for better spirits and dedication than what our community has shown Easter Seals today,” said Easter Seals President and CEO Larry Gammon. Over $15,000 was raised, with the majority of the funds donated by BAE Systems in support of Veterans Count: a program designed to ensure that veterans and their families receive exceptional services maximizing their quality of life in recognition of their service and sacrifice for the community.
