Easter Seals New Hampshire Appoints Vice President of Regional Special Education Services

Easter Seals New Hampshire is pleased to announce that Mary Murphy, of East Arlington, VT, will step into the role of Vice President of Regional Special Education Services.

Murphy will oversee educational programs in New Hampshire, Vermont, Coastal Fairfield Connecticut, CT and Harbor Schools in Massachusetts for children with disabilities and special needs.

Murphy has more than 20 years of work experience within the therapeutic residential treatment and day school settings. She holds both an M.A. and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Education Leadership and Special Education. Most recently she was the Special Education Administrator and Co-Principal for Bennington School, Inc. in Bennington, VT.

“I look forward to collaboration in the region to increase our programming throughout the New England states,” said Murphy. “My goals are to utilize my experiences and resources to support the current and future educational programs, and provide opportunities to continue to develop student skills in all areas of education. I am hopeful to expand the use of technology for teachers and students as well as encourage positive peer involvement with outdoor activities such as outdoor adventure, horticulture and fitness activities.”
