What is Caring Companions?        
Caring Companions is a program providing a variety of in-home nonmedical services geared towards promoting an individual’s independence in their own home.  We specialize in services for seniors, chronically ill or disabled individuals. Our program is a consumer driven model which means that the consumer has CHOICE...a choice as to who their employee will be, a choice as to when they will receive services, where they will receive services and how they will receive those services.

What services do Caring Companions provide?    

• Assistance with housekeeping
• Assistance with laundry
• Assistance with personal care
• Transportation/errands
• Companionship and activities
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Transition home from the hospital
• A break for families
• Hospice care
• Alzheimer’s and dementia care

When can you provide services?              
Caring Companions can provide anywhere from 2-24 hours a day, 7 days a week- days, nights, weekends and holidays.

We serve people throughout NH and have qualified employees ready to assist you today - wherever your home is.

What is the cost?                              
Caring Companions is a cost effective, highly competitive hourly rate.  Our rate does not change with the service or time of day. We also accept a variety of funding sources such as: long-term care health insurance, medicaid (under the home program), veterans administration grants and respite grants.  

What are the qualifications of a Caring Companion employee?              
Our employees receive screenings (criminal and driving), orientation and ongoing trainings.  Many of our caregivers have years of experience in the caregiving field- some professional and some personal.  But the most significant bond amongst Caring Companion employees is their compassion and concern for others.
