Easter Seals Disability Services

The Easter Seals Autism Clinic provides high quality multidisciplinary assessments for children who are suspected of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The clinic team includes:

• Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Psychologist
• Autism Care Coordinator / BCBA
• Speech and Language Pathologist
• Occupational Therapist
• Family Support Specialist

The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and other specialized age-appropriate assessments are used to:

• Clarify diagnosis
• Evaluate developmental status
• Capture and describe each child’s unique strengths and challenges
• Provide individualized and concrete recommendations

Benefits to families include:

• Four hours of individually tailored consultative services for children receiving a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Access to a training series to educate parents and community team members about Autism related topics, treatment interventions, and services
• Facilitation of a seamless transition to local early intervention services by a trained team member
